William Shamblin Jr. and Joshua Owens, both of Johnson City, have been charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $500 in reference to a burglary reported Tuesday at 10:12 p.m. at 1613 Broad Street Ext., Apt. 4, Elizabethton. Court dates have been set for June 26 for both men. Deputy Larry Vaughn of the Carter County Sheriff's Department said he was told by dispatchers that a witness observed two white males carrying items out of an apartment and placing them in a vehicle.
