Douglasville Law

I am afraid that I will get in trouble because I smoked the week before court I got out of jail about a week and a half ago and have not heard anything from probation. I was told I would be given random tests and even told my lawyer that I had smoked recently he said he would ask the judge for an exception to wait 30 days to give me a chance to clean my system. I never heard this at my sentencing and was taken to jail. Can I request because I am unable to urinate on my own for a blood test? I cannot use catheters due to damage and pain but my bladder spasms and empties itself but mostly at night time.I am in a wheelchair and am deathly afraid of going back to jail. Anyone know if I can request a different type of test? I am also on pain management and take meds they cannot take that right
Please see my other answer on your other post.
I am currently unemployed, and I cant find work due to a dui conviction in Dec 2013. I am on probation until Dec 2014. My arrest was in June 2013. I have never been arrested before, therefore this being my first conviction, I was wondering if I can get my record restricted or expunged to the public and employers? I have completed all necessary county requirements except the probation period. Help
Sorry, restriction/expungement is not an option when you have been convicted of an offense.

You can request a blood test, but they don't have to give it to you. You most likely will have to get the test yourself.

I have lived in Ga for a year, but I have a residence and business in Fl. that's why I kept my florida license. Now, I'm told that I can't get the Hardship lic in Ga. I'm under the dr's care at va several times per month, I have to get an interlock device installed, I have to see my probation officer monthly and I have no other mode of transportation. what are my options, other than waiting 120 days.
Georgia will not issue a limited permit because you are still on a Florida License. You will be able to reinstate your...
My question is can he get his very first one dropped from his record since it's over 20 yrs? He has been to court , served jail time, now enrolled in DUI court, and was granted a permit to drive to work. Ga driver services won't give him his permit because of Illinois not releasing him from national registry system. He's paying his fines and attending DUI classes and court. Illinois rules are different from Ga and they won't clear him because they're saying if you have a total of four DUI's that's a lifetime of no driving. He hasn't lived in Chicago in over 23 yrs. what do we do? He's already pd a lot of money for his lawyer. He needs his job
Il counts them all. And if any of them occurred after 1/1/99, and he has four or more convictions on his IL record or...

No. DUI convictions cannot be "dropped" from someone's record, no matter how old they are.
