Just charged with Aggravated DWI & DWI in Long Island NY. Blew .21. Stopped for not maintaining lanes. Age 29, no criminal record history. Employed at bank, military reserve and going to school full time. Are they any chances this can be brought down to driving while impaired? Not sure if it means anything, but I reside in the state of CT.

I was pulled over on december 23rd at 3:00 am. and i was arrested for a DUI. I am 18 years old, and this is my first conviction of a DUI. I was asked by a police officer to step out of my car to perform several field sobriety tests, and then I was arrested. Once I arrived at the police station I was given a breathalyzer test in which I scored .0348. I was then released on a 500 dollar bail and scheduled a court date for January 7th. I am very concerned about this due to the fact that I am currently in a legalization/naturalization process.

My 18 year old daughter hit a tree while driving drunk. Her blood alcohol level 0.16. She was not charged with anything at the scene of the accident nor issued any tickets. I was involved in an accident january 9th. the newspaper article stated i was "fleeing the police" and lost control of my vehicle. The cop didn't breathalize me on the spot BUT i was put in an ambulance where (Im assuming) they took blood in the hospital. Next thing i know i wake up in the ER the next morning and go home. two days after, i talk to the cop who pulled me over and said i will most likely be charged with a DUI and will call me when he gets more info. It's been 2 and a half weeks and all that has happened is a different cop is working the case requesting my insurance information yesterday. what should i expect within the next coming weeks????? keep in mind i still have not been charged with anything yet. thanks for looking and your insight
