I am traveling with my three brothers and my parents to Ireland in a little less than 9 weeks. I was sentenced to six months probation for a DUI in Pennsylvania that begin in March and will last until early Septmeber. I am in ARD and this was a misdemeanor not a felony. I contacted the Consulate General of Ireland in NYC and she advised me to contact the Police Dept. in Ireland to inform them of my wish to travle and my schedule. She seemed pretty confident that I will not have any problems. Has anyone had success in traveling to Ireland or abroad under these conditions?
This is a question for an Irish attorney to respond to. You may wish to post it under international law may be someone...
Shy of turning 21 in a month. Blew a .06. I am curious as to what my penalties are. I have to do intervention. And I am doing the ARD classes, but I was curious as to how long I might lose my license..?
If you get ARD your suspension in Montgomery County would be 90 days. You should contact a qualified defense attorney...
1991 DUI. & 2004dui that I am out on bond for . Still no court date. Shortly there is a limit ?
The statute of limitations is satisfied if the criminal complaint is filed on time. For dui it is probably five years...
I was pulled over at a checkpoint in Whitemarsh township and was charged with DUI. My charges are: 75 3802 B - High Rt (BAC .1 - .16) - 1st 75 3802 A1 - Gen Imp / Inc Driver Safety - 1st Why do I have two charges and what should I do next?
The first thing you should do is hire an attorney and discuss all your possible options. It is very common for you to...
I plead guilty to 3rd Tier DUI 3 weeks ago (1st offense) and was ineligible for ARD. I have to do 72 hours in county jail (next week) after which I will be on 6 months probation/parole. I am a 40+ year old work-at-home mom of 3 kids under the age of 12 living in the same home for the last 16 years, married for 18 years. I have to travel to Atlanta in late June for work and would LIKE to travel to Ohio in late July (grandparent's milestone birthday). Both trips would be 3-4 days. I know that I have to get permission from my PO for both trips. My probation/parole will be based out of Delaware County (they don't transfer when it is 6 months or less). I plan on being the nicest person my PO has ever met. What are the chances of him/her approving the trips? Thanks!
Speak to your lawyer who knows you and the case. He or she may know the PO and can speak on your behalf. It shouldn't...
Dui arrest 09/09. ARD completed 09/12. Submitted criminal record check on PATCH on 3/17/13 to get the ball rolling on getting my record expunged. First few days it said "request under review." I didn't check again until tonight figuring they would just be sending me a record response in the mail. So anyway, when i checked on my request it said "no record." I'm confused. Did I not get the right report for my records to get my expungement? I haven't contacted a lawyer yet, I just wanted to have all the necessary paperwork for when I do.
You should retain an attorney now for the expungement. For ARD cases you do not need to attach the background check to...
I was stopped for doing 85 in a 35 and crossing the yellow line. I performed the sobriety tests which I failed because my feet are extremely flat and that makes it very hard for me to balance, and my prescribed medications (taking for years) caused dilated pupils. I took the Breathalyzer but I never drink. They arrested me, towed my car to a garage and took me to the hospital for a blood test then gave me a ride home. I was never given any citation or anything. The only thing I signed was the blood test I initialed. Should I expect something in the mail? Should I get a lawyer now or wait until I have some paperwork?
You may indeed by charged with a DUI depending upon the blood test results and the Troopers observations of you while...
