Hi my name is Ashlee. I live in Pennsylvania. I was convicted of a DUI back in 2008. Well I was put on ARD and screwed the ARD program up because I didn't finish it. Anyway, I was just resentenced December 26th, 2012 and the judge gave me a thousand dollar fine plus house arrest costs and court costs. I never paid my fine off from when I was sentenced before because I wasn't working. I just received my fine statement in the mail and it says I owe $3,900!!! And I dnt work or have any income.I have been looking for jobs for months and haven't had any luck. So my question is, Is that right that I have to pay both fines??I didn't think it was because its for the same crime/DUI. I don't know what I can do. I also have to pay for house arrest with no income! Please Help! I don't know what to do!

I was pulled over and got in trouble for driving with a suspended license. My license was suspended 4 years ago because I had received a D.u.I. I had received a letter saying I could get my license back if I could pay my court fines for d.u.I but I didn't have the money to do that. So I'm not sure if my license was technically suspended or not. I have a 3 year old son and my fiancee is on disability for mental problems so I am very worried that I will go back to jail. On my summons it says I will be facing 60-90 days of jail for driving with a suspended license so I am scared out of my mind.Please help
