A county judge has shot down a lawsuit against the city of Oberlin challenging an ordinance that makes it illegal for those who aren't allowed to have guns to carry weapons in the city's parks. In a decision handed down this week, Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Raymond Ewers ruled that in its present form the ordinance, which the city revised from an outright ban on guns in parks after complaints from Ohioans for Concealed Carry, is valid. Comment?

As a result of the investigation, Rickey Lynn Bernard, 53, who works as a maintenance man at the motel, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of selling or facilitating the sale of drugs within the motel. The sheriff's office says Bernard goes by the street name "Hillbilly." Comment?

Authorities have narrowed their search to two persons of interest in the death of a Fremont woman whose shot and beaten body was found in the trunk of her car. Heather Bogle, 28, was last seen clocking out from her job at Whirlpool in Clyde at 6:17 a.m. Thursday. Comment?
