DUI CHECKPOINT
I WAS IN A DUI CHECK POINT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AND REFUSED A BREATHALYZER AT THE SCENE AFTER THEY CONDUCTED A FIELD SOBRIETY TEST BUT WAS NEVER ASKED TO TAKE A SECONDARY TEST AT THE STATION I CURRENTLY HAD A LAWYER FIGHTING MY CASE BUT HE RECENTLY GOT SENTENCED TO JAIL AND I FAIL TO APPEAR TO COURT WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I DO?

DUI Case of an LVN
My friend was caught for speeding and had a DUI of .09 last Saturday. Does he need to inform right away his employer? He is currently at work right now. Is there a possibility that his license will be revoked even if it's only .09. The cop got his license (but he got a temporary license for driving) and his court hearing is May 13. He is confused on what to do.
Your friend has a lot to lose both in court and potentially with the LVN licensing agency. When one is confused and...
DUI and house arrest
I had a DUI eight years ago. I recently got a DUI and I have been told by the District's Attorney that I face jail time. I have a job and wish to continue to work and also begin attending AA meetings. Would requesting house arrest be appropriate in my situation, given that I had a DUI 8 years ago?
Sure, that's an appropriate request, but one that's best made by your lawyer. Don't try to do this yourself. Retain...
DUI Felony
My fiancé was charged with a felony dui because it was his 4th. However, he was given as part of his punishment so to say that he would have to complete 6 months in an in patient program. We are wondering if there is anything we can do to avoid this since he will loose his job because of this and let's be honest is cutting people off from the ones that love and support them and sticking a bunch of people that have the same issue in a home together a good idea??? But his case was finalized last April and he hasn't had a drink since 2012 when his last dui was. We really need some legal advice and guidance. Thank you for your time.
What you are saying makes little sense. You said that he stopped drinking in 2012....how can that be as he was...
When does DUI arrest show on driving record?
I was arrested last week for DUI in Los Angeles county. . I requested a hearing from dmv and thus my license is still valid. When will my arrest show on my DMV driving record? Will it not be placed on my driving record until I am convicted or has it already been documented and therefore visible to insurance companies if they pull my record?
technically arrest should be on there now but obviously no conviction. I am a 10 year veteran of the los angeles police...
There is a dui Arrest on my driving record from 11/14/2013 but no record of it in the court system, can charges still be filed?
This arrest record was sent to dmv on 06/14/2014. I was legitimately arrested for a dui on 04/2014, refusal, eventually brought down to a wet reckless. If I was arrested on 11/14/2013 for a dui then the April arrest would have been a 2nd dui, which it was not. How can something like this occur. The dmv having a dui arrest record but not the court system?
Yes, there's a chance the arrest report didn't make it to the DA and is hadn't been filed, or the DA might have decided...
