On Dec. 17, a male and a female entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 1000 block of W. Badillo Street and attempted to cash a counterfeit check, police said in a statement. Responding officers tried to make contact as the suspects entered a stolen vehicle outside the bank, but the suspects refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. Comment?

Kaitlin Salkham was traveling on the wrong side of College Avenue for nearly five blocks around 2 a.m. According to Lieutenant Mike Ciszek, the 24-year-old had encountered police 40 minutes earlier at a party where they advised her not to drive, as she was intoxicated.
