Chuckey Law

She has never had a traffic ticket. The officer had blood drawn at the jail and it was sent to TBI. She went back to court in Jan. 2015. "Drug results are not back yet" New date set for April. She hasn't hired an attorney because she didn't have drugs in her system. She was honest with the officer when he asked and told him she had taken her sleep medication early that morning. This was around 3PM. The judge told her she needed to prove to him that she has spoken to 4 attorneys and that she can't afford to pay those attorneys before he would appoint a public defender. After this incident, she lost her job, her home and her dog. She now is working 2 part time jobs and living with her mom. What happened to "innocent until proven guility". The attorney she did consult wanted $2500
I would suggest that you consult with more than one lawyer. In fact, if the judge said four I would follow his orders....

I do not see any rights violations, though your description of the cell you were kept in is a little border. However,...
Flipped my jeep, cops came when i was outside of my jeep assessing the damage. They gave me the field sobriety test, went through each test about 3 times. Then he said i'm taking you in for a blood test. Test was given at the jail. I bailed out went to my arraignment and they told me to get a lawyer, said if i didnt have one by the court date i would be representing myself. Just today got back from my court date and they did not give me any information. It basically was the same as the arraignment and they gave me a court appointed lawyer and a new date 3 months down the line. Also received a letter from the dmv stating it was a property damage accident. Just confused why i have not received my b.a.c at either the arraignment or court today and why is the dmv calling it a property accident

I currently reside in Arizona (but moving to TN) and was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Feb 2014. That trial is still pending. I did win the DMV admin hearing and can still drive. My local attorney believes my DUI trial case will be dismissed, but, I have this question: I'm planning on taking a new job in Nashville well before the AZ DUI trial is completed. If I get a TN drivers license and register my car in TN and then I'm later found guilty of DUI in AZ (after I've surrendered my AZ drivers license to the TN DMV), will I be able to drive in TN, or will TN suspend my license (as AZ would have) and force me to install an ignition interlock device? Since I need to drive when I arrive in TN, I'm open to hiring a TN attorney to assist keeping TN driving privileges.
All states entered into an agreement to honor each other's license suspensions. So, in theory, your TN license will be...
