trying to come up with the $1000 down. Im out $600 dollars already and its only been 3 days since arrest. I'm worried that I will not be able to pay for classes and court if I don't save now; hoping for getting free counsel my mom bought me a new car right before this but I'm forced to sign it over that was my only asset. Still hoping to file as indigent seeing as I will lose my job once I lose my dmv hearing. and i don't know how I will go to school if I'm in jail. can i plead not guilty and then ask for a pre trial conference giving me two more months.
You may ask to be referred to the public defender's office at your first court date. We offer payment plans which...
All three were within about three years. Got pulled over for minor traffic violations on all three occasions. What will the sentencing most likely look like? Additionally, there was no breath test done.
Even without a breath or blood test, the prosecutor may still try to proceed with the charges based upon the officer's...
My boyfriend was pulled over and arrested in Colorado for suspicion of a DUI. He refused field sobriety test and a breathalyzer, so they drew his blood (do not know the results of the test yet). He works in a field that requires him to have a CDL license to drive company equipment, if he loses that he loses his career and livelihood. He would do pretty much anything to keep his license and his career. What are his options?
The response focuses so much on details here that you haven't given. Best bet is to hire an expert lawyer in Denver in...
I was charged with a dui but I am moving to New York city. I was told that my dmv hearing is coming up and my license is good until the actual hearing. I wanted to know if I can go to New York city get my new license there then go to the dmv hearing in Colorado. I am in the military so my home of record is in New York. If I receive the new license from New York would they just suspend or revoke that one if I lose the hearing ? According to New York you can show your dmv driving record to obtain a new one as well as proof of identity of course. I figured Id say I lost my Colorado license so I can get one since Colorado actually took my license and issued me a temporary one until my dmv hearing.
Very clever idea and I'm sure nobody has ever thought of it before. Your suspension will catch up with you eventually...

Yes, you absolutely should get an attorney. You should probably also check into treatment. Alcohol abuse is one thing,...
Got stopped at a Dui checkpoint felt obligated to submit the sobriety test I found I didn't have to I should have known. I feel like having aspergers syndrome is what caused the investigation and got charged for a Dui for having marijuana in my system. I can't afford to hire an attorny, I dont know if i qualify for public deffender because i live with my parents my income is low enough but my households might make too much what should I do?
Go to your first court date and request a public defender. IF you don't qualify the judge will give you time to go...
2nd DUI in September 2007 Because DMV court decision handed down months before regular court, interlock on car / red license between April 2008 and January 2011, regular license and 0 incidents of any kind since then. When I was going through everything I thought I heard someone say after 7 years you can pay to have it removed from your record. Is that 7 years from date of incident or 7 years from time to regular license back? Thank you for your help!
You cannot remove the conviction from your record in Colorado. It is a life-long offense and cannot be expunged or...
