Police arrested a 36-year-old Chelmsford man Monday night after he pointed a gun at men trying to repossess his car and barricaded himself in his garage, officials said. Jason Cleghorn was arrested without incident around 8:40 p.m. at his Piccadilly Circle home, said John Guilfoil, a spokesman for the Chelmsford police. Comment?

A Taunton man is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing after he was accused in January of breaking into a Chelmsford woman's apartment and raping her while threatening her with a knife. In Lowell Superior Court recently, Timothy Tucker, 33, was ordered held in custody after pleading not guilty to charges of armed burglary, aggravated rape causing serious bodily injury, kidnapping and intimidation of a witness.
