In 1992 I was arrested for 1st and only DWI. I got SIS with probation, traffic school and counseling, all completed to court's satisfaction. So no DWI conviction shows, but the state still shows an administrative license suspension for DWI even though it was 22 years ago. I've been told it should have dropped from the record after 10 years with no more similar charges, but it didn't. I'm a driver by trade, and it has been an issue with some job applications. Court acts as though I need to have an attorney ask to have it removed. True?
Unfortunately many actions I the courts go much more smoothly with counsel. Hire an attorney and get it done.
I had one dui in 2007 and another in 2013. I do well in structured situations and was a cross country and track runner for 6 years.
Your question is best addressed to a recruiter. With the ongoing drawdown, I'd be pessimistic, at best.
one dui in 2007 and one in 2013. I do really well ion structured environments and am very strong minded . I am also athletic because I ran cross country and track for 6 yrs.
It is my understanding and past experience that two ordinance/misdemeanor DWI convictions will not prevent you from...
I was arrested for DWI, I refused breathalyzer but asked for an attorney twice but was denied. PCS backs this up-Is this valid?
was never given access to an attorney when refusing. Both arrest report as well as probable cause statement reflect this as fact, where officer puts down I had asked for an attorney (twice). Then the next minute, he gives the refusal... Does this qualify for an invalid refusal??
Get in to see an attorney ASAP. The time you have to appeal the revocation is limited, and the limitation is strictly...
First offense dwi and refused to take the breath test. Lawyer has the dwi case dismissed and reduced to careless driving. License revocation is going to be a year for refusing to take the breath test. Can I get limited driving privileges after 90 days without the ignition interlock device. State of MO
You will need to have the ignition interlock installed. Refer to Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 309.302 for guidance....
First time DWI in MO. Case dismissed and reduced to careless driving. Can I appeal with DOR to avoid revocation(test refused)
So I have a first time DWI in MO and my case has been dismissed and reduced to careless driving with 2 points on my license. My license has to be revoked for 1 year per DOR because I refused for breath test.I am currently driving on a stay order. I don't want my license to be revoked. I have heard that I can appeal with the DOR and negotiate a deal so that they don't revoke my license for this first offense. There is a form I need to fill and send to DOR. Can someone shed some light on this. I don't want to install the ignition lock device .
Your DWI was not dismissed, it was amended to C&I. You are driving on a stay order because your lawyer filed a...
I have a Suspended Imposition of Sentence (SIS) for a DWI that occurred in 2010. Will I be able to get into Canada?
My dwi offense occurred in 2010 and I received an SIS in 2012 after completing all requirements for my probation. I have no other infractions on my record. I would consider myself completely rehabilitated but I am wondering if Canada will see my SIS if they scan my passport and if they will consider me rehabilitated and let me in at the border? I am on my way to Canada now for a wedding and I brought my resume and portfolio that show my achievements and has a letter of recommendation, a paycheck stub from work, a letter of recommendation from my mom about my dwi and describes how I've been rehabilitated specifically written for entry into Canada, and the wedding invitation. I am also an RN on a cancer unit (extra moral) Do you think they will see my SIS on my record & will they let me in?
Canada is very strict on allowing entrance to people with DUI Convictions. I would assume it will be a problem.
