A group of about 75 young males weaving in and out of traffic on bicycles caused a major disturbance in the Back Bay area Sunday, leading officers to arrest multiple juveniles from the unruly pack, police said. Boston police received multiple calls around 5:15 p.m. reporting the large group of bicylists and the hazardous environment they created for pedestrians and motorists in the area of Boylston and Clarendon streets, Boston police said in a posting on their blog. Boston Police report officers arrested three teens and seizing several bicycles Sunday afternoon after watching "approximately 75 young males on bicycles, cutting in and out of traffic creating a hazardous environment for pedestrians and motor vehicles operating in the area" of Boylston and Clarendon streets in the Back Bay. The three were charged with disturbing the police, police say, adding one was also charged with illegal possession of a dangerous weapon - brass knuckles. Comment?

The second suspect wanted in connection to the kidnapping of a woman last week, who was put in the truck of a vehicle, has been arrested. The Bristol County District Attorney said that Adynew Alves, 28, of Boston turned himself in to Baltimore Police Thursday night after being on the run from police. 1 comment
