A first-grade student was sexually assaulted in a bathroom at Allentown's Jefferson Elementary School, a lawsuit says in allegations that echo a string of student-on-student sexual attacks from a decade earlier. The suit, filed Tuesday in federal court on behalf of an anonymous boy and his parents, alleges the May 2013 attack happened because school officials failed to follow rules put in place as part of a settlement in litigation over the earlier abuse. A state parolee assaulted and robbed another parolee at an Allentown halfway house early Friday and then tried escaping out a third-floor window when police were called, according to court records. Stephen Paul, 25, allegedly punched Charles S. Bethlehem police said a traffic stop Monday night led to the arrest of a "substantial Lehigh Valley drug dealer," authorities said. Steven Kitchell, 36, of the 500 block of Thomas Street, had $35,000 worth of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills and methamphetamine inside his vehicle and two city homes, police said. The Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers have joined the effort to find the person or persons responsible for the March arson at Monocacy Fabricators in Bethlehem , offering an additional $2,000 to those who can help crack the case. The fire March 25 at the metal fabrication company at 1150 Mauch Chunk Road on sent choking plumes of acrid smoke into the air, covering much of the west side of the city. Comment?

You could be in line for cash if you have information leading to the arrest of those involved in a arson case in Bethlehem. Investigators in Bethlehem are working to solve the case of a fire intentionally set at Monocacy Fabrication at 1150 Mauch Chunk Road between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. on March 25. On April 1, the fire marshal ruled the fire was an act of arson, but didn't elaborate on how the blaze may have started. Comment?
