At 12:30 a.m., detectives from a local Narcotics Task Force requested a uniformed presence while serving a search warrant in the 12900 block of Hanwell Ave. The warrant was executed without incident. A Downey Police K-9 assisted and detectives located approximately 18 kilograms of cocaine and approximately $500,000.00 in U.S. currency. Comment?

Stills from a surveillance video showing a woman suspected of stealing $250 in bingo winnings from an 86-year-old woman at the Langley Senior Center in Monterey Park on Feb. 6. Police alleged the suspect, Maricela Bracamontes, 53, of Bell Gardens, took the victim's purse. Bracamontes was arrested Thursday on suspicion of elder abuse. Comment?

Santa Ana police need the public's help in identifying a woman who could be connected to an attempted robbery at a hotel. Detectives want to question the unidentified woman because they think she was present at the time of the crime, along with two others who were arrested last Wednesday for other robberies. Comment?
