I was convicted of 191.5 b. misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter with out gross negligence while intoxicated. My question is, how long will my revocation last? The dmv said 3 years while research ive done said possibly 1 year. The court has ordered restitution and with no license a job will be difficult to get to let alone find and maintain. My town is also small with no public transportation. Also, if a full reinstatement is not feezable, would a temporary be plausible? Any help would be aappreciated.

I was sentenced may 17 2012 for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter and did my county time on it. It was a complicated case but that was the end result. While my BAC was .10 at the time oof the accident, I was never convicted of a dui from the court. Now im out and have a good job and restitution to pay, the DMV has revoked my license for 3 yrs on the day of my sentencing, is it possible to attain a restricted type of license for work? There is no public transportation in my city and my job is 10 miles away from my house. Any help is appreciated.

The vehicle was parked for a number of hours. I was outside of the vehicle checking on my dogs. No keys were in the vehicle at all. The officers said they contacted me because I was not parked properly. I asked if I could take a picture in my defense. The officer said sure. He hit my phone out of my hand, threw me onto the hood of his car and then tried to get a breathalizer from me while I was in jail. He charged me with DUI and 5 counts of assaulting an officer. He told me I had no rights. The DA dropped all charges because they said it seemed suspicious, plee bargained to one assaulting an officer. I have no criminal record. The officer was fired. Now I did get a DUI and the court is considering it a first time offense, but DMV is considering it a second. How do I change this?

There was probably cause to pull me over: traffic violation (lights) I am not a licensed driver I was under the influence with 0.05 or ^ No miranda rights were read, provided information that could effect every sobriety test including diet, anxiety, ADHD, and medicine and No further questions were asked about the circumstances of that information I did not refuse any tests, I asked for clarification and none was answered "I talked to much" I had no idea about why I was taking a test, what it was used for, ETC. The officers were vague, rude, harassed me, left a bruise, and did not give me any information about my arrest other than I broke a law that was it. The PSA test could be effected (i answer questions as there asked nothing more) Should I fight the case for the DMV? Cost of case?
