The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating possible connections among three crimes that occurred at the end of last week in Bel Air and Edgewood, 1200 block of Athens Court in Bel Air; 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11-A suspect wearing dark clothing approached a man, showed his gun and demanded the man's watch. The suspect drove off in a dark-colored sedan without taking anything. Comment?

The Bel Air Police Department reported Monday that Bel Air Middle School was burglarized last month, and authorities need help identifying the suspects. Police released pictures of the individuals accused of breaking into the school, who are wearing long pants and hooded sweatshirts. Comment?

A 22-year-old Bel Air man and two associates were charged in a pair of vehicle thefts in Aberdeen that may be connected to others in the county, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office . James Snidero, 22, of the 200 block of Temple Drive in Bel Air, was charged with two counts of rogue and vagabond; theft less than $1,000; and theft less than $100, online court records show. The Harford County Sheriff's Office says the men were driving on Interstate 40 in the Joppa area Tuesday when the confrontation occurred and quickly escalated. One of the men exited the highway and pulled into a parking lot to avoid further confrontation. Comment?

When a woman asked a stranger for help getting an item off the shelf at the Abingdon Home Goods store recently, a man took the opportunity to snatch the person's wallet, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office . Afterward, the pickpocketing man and a second woman tried to use the stranger's credit cards at Best Buy , Kohl's and Macy's in Bel Air, said Cristie Kahler, spokeswoman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
