A friend of mine blew three times with a .065 a 0.70 then a 0.75 but she was still cited arrested and car impounded. Is the legal limit not .080?
Such a common question. There are TWO ways to get an alcohol related DUI in Washington. 1) Be above .08 within...
He was the only one involved. No injury or damage to anyone or thing other than himself and his vehicle. He is 16 years old and alcohol level was .283 which I know is extremely high. He has never ever been involved in any bad behavior, he is a great student and athlete. I need to know what my options are to protect his future as I know this is a very serious offence. We live in the state of Washington which is where the accidient happened but he also lives part time with his father in Oregon which is where he and the vehicle were liseanced. Please help....
It is important to contact an attorney immediately to discuss your case. Without the facts of the case it is hard to...
I was pulled over for drunk driving the other night and I blew a .088. The cop wrote on my ticket thing that the charge was for minor operating a vehicle after alcohol consumption. When he asked if i had been drinking I was honest and told him yes. I was really respectful to the cop and didnt fight anything. What could be the penalties? I looked it up but I couldnt find anything stating the consequences for a person charged with a DUI who is under the age of 18. Also, this is my first time ever dealing with police, so I have no previous record.
I don't practice in Washington, but more than likely you will get a summons to appear in juvenile court. In theory they...
I got a Minor DUI about a month ago, and I'm trying to get it reduced to an MIP and also get a diversion. This is the first time I have ever gotten in trouble with the law. The prosecuting attorney offered to reduce it to negligent driving, and 5 days work crew with some fines. The thing is, negligent driving stays on my record and I'm only 17 so I can't do work crew, so I would have to go to jail for at least one day, which I'm trying to avoid. I cannot afford a lawyer but I don't qualify for a court appointed one. I did have a consult with a lawyer though, but I still have some questions. Since I am trying to plea the charges down myself, how would I go about trying to do this? More specifically, what kind of things could I present to the prosecuting attorney or the judge, to prove that I'm a good kid and that I'm not going to do this again, that could help me plea it down?
If there are no proof problems in the case, a Neg2 is not a bad deal. You can do a DUI victim's panel and/or do a CD...
Son with DUI, hasn't had sentence court yet, driving last night with expired insurance (2 wks ago) and car ran into pole in construction zone...not drinking and witnesses but car was towed this morning and currently at Sheriffs office for him to come in...what should he expect to happen? He is 21.
If your son's DUI is still pending then he likely has certain conditions he must comply with until the case resolves....
The evidence was thrown out of my case when the doctor refused to come to court when subpoenaed. I was convicted even though I was not drinking at the time I am involved in an appeal at this time. My appeal attorney,(court appointed) has filed an anders brief to be released from the case but I have all of my diagnoses in writing and wish to carry the appeal case through.
You have not asked a question but I assume that you want some information about what you can do on an appeal. If...
I have a WA license that expired while I was living out of state the last 2 years. My out of state license is currently revoked after being charged with DUI, legal case still pending. After losing my job, I moved back to WA for a new job. I am wondering what is best course of action to now take in order to be able to renew my WA license and be able to drive ASAP.
All states have an agreement to honor each other's suspensions or revocations. So, you need to get your revocation...
