I got a DUI in August of 2007 in CT and then got one 2 weeks later in VA. I lived in VA at the time and completed the course required by CT and VA at one time. I came to find out that there was a warrant for my arrest in CT some years later, and I turned myself in. They are charging me AGAIN as a second time offender in CT even though the one in VA happened after the DUI in CT. I hired a lawyer, which got me convicted as a first time offender and am now doing everything all over again that I did 5 years ago. Did I get scammed?
