North Augusta Public Safety has arrested two suspects wanted in connection to the burglary at the Belvedere/North Augusta Rescue Squad building on Edgefield Rd. on May 9. Authorities say J-Sun Marcellus Davis, 17, of North Augusta and a 16-year-old juvenile from North Augusta, saw their photos on local media outlets and turned themselves in to Public Safety. Officials say both are charged with 3rd degree burglary. Comment?

The Augusta Chronicle reports the Richmond County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a man booked at the jail last week on charges of driving with a suspended license has now been charged with murder in the killing of 56-year-old Hester Jackson on Dec. 8, 2012. Authorities say Jackson, a security guard at the Savannah River Site, was shot after returning from work and finding a burglar in his house. Comment?
