I got 2 DUIs back in 2012 in PA, with a NJ drivers license. My license has been suspended since August 2012 in PA, however my NJ license is still valid and in good standing in NJ. My suspension ends in late October of this year. Am I supposed to report this to NJ? My only other concern is my license expires the end of May, do I need to inform them that is suspended in PA? Or what are the repercussions if I say it is not suspended in any other state?
NO, you don't have to self-report. If PA reports it, NJ will suspend you. Until that happens, you're not suspended and...
I was convicted of two misdemeanor simple DUIs, the most recent being 2 years ago. I have since been sober and am trying to get back on track. I am applying to a nursing program and would like to know if the Board of Nursing is likely to grant me a license once I graduate, and if there is anything I can do to help my case.
This is probably one of the facts that the Board is looking for to see if you are able to safely practice your...
I was recently arrested for a DWI in New Jersey. I have never been in trouble with the law before. Initially I was pulled for speeding and the cop asked where I was coming from. I told him the truth that I had just left the bar and was driving friends home down the street. He smelled alcohol from the bar and I agreed to take the sobriety test. Felt I passed them all and slipped up on the alphabet test due to nervousness. After. I was under arrest and headed to the station to take the breathalyzer test. He took the reading which was over the limit (1.3). I am a law abiding citizen that made the biggest mistake of my life. One which will never happen again. I thought I was able to drive from only drinking 3 beers in a 3 hour period. Although, the last beer was right before closing.
Answer: It is hard to answer exactly how the pending charges will affect your future employment. Obviously if a job...
I was admited in to a ARD program I surrendered my PA license and I got a Nj license in 2009. Pennsylvania suspended my surrender Pennsylvania license. What will happen to Mike New Jersey license. What's going to happen to me I'm doing everything Pennsylvania says paying all their court fees. Help. S
This is a bit confusing. You got the NJ license in 09 and got the Pa. DWI is 2013? Pa. then could only suspend your...
I got a DUI for there being drugs in my system even though my BAC was .06. This occurred while I was on probation; as such, I have since passed several drug tests. Additionally, I recently took a DSM 5 Point Diagnostic that also involved a drug test that determined I do not require further treatment. My fear is that because on my scantron, I answered honestly saying that I had attended NA meetings, I will be further referred. I told the instructor straight up that it was back in high school (now 23) and my test will confirm that though I admitted to hard drug use, I haven't in over a year. My biggest concern is that I will be referred by default, fail for marijuana as a result, and be screwed. Any insight would be helpful.
That is up to the IDRC counsellors.
I have 4 DUI's. I have served jail time for the 3rd and 4th (about 362 days). I have not had a license for a little over two years. Is there anything that I can do to have my license reinstated? For work purposes, and things like that. Like putting a breathalyzer in my car? Like stated, I have paid the jail time, and the fines. Is there anything that I can do?
You would need to check with the drivers license bureau to what options are available to you. If they can't help call a...
I am from, and have a valid drivers license in New Jersey. I am paying $84 a month for 3 years because 2 years ago I received a DUI for failing to give a breath test in the state of Virginia. Earlier this summer i moved back to VA to work and save up for a car. Last week I bought one and at the VA DMV a red flag came up saying that i haven't completed their VASAP program so my driving privilege here is suspended. I am moving back to NJ shortly and am wondering if I ONLY need to complete the program to be able to drive in VA or does it carry over in the system to NJ? When I came to NJ to restore my license, the dmv did not mention anything and I only had to pay a fee and $1000 for 3 years. I am under the impression that I'm currently okay to drive anywhere except in Virginia.
If you have a valid Nj license you can drive anywhere but Va. where your privledges are suspended. However Richmond...
