I was arrested for a dwi for a .16 BAC, and with prior knowledge i'm aware mostly all charges are dropped to a duai. However i believe since i have a legal aid he isn't going to do much to help me drop the dwi to a duai. My legal aid recently called me stating that i could not get the charges dropped to a duai.

ticketed for DWI and Harrassment 2nd. Plead guilty to DWI, Harrassment charge was dropped. Sentenced to 1 yr. conditional discharge, DDP Program and Ignition Interlock Device (IID)for 6 months. Been working FT, did the DDP class, paid all fines and surcharges, had IID installed, everythign fine for 4 months. Newst IID unit giving faulty readings, company says something wrong w/ unit, but wont replace till its time for recalibrated unit. BF was doing alc counseling for 4 mths, then when sentence didnt require it he quit going. Now we have 2 ltrs from DA wanting to violate cond. dis. due to no alc couns and faulty IID readings. We have heard nothing from Judge yet get a ltr from the Probation dept saying he has to meet with them?

I am on misdermeanor. dwi probation in cayuga county i was supposed to be released 9-11-09 but had been declared delinquent and ordered to get eval . so i got one from CHAD with no reccomendation for treatment but urine screen was pos for cannabis so i need to know if they will violate me or what and how can i defend since i have never been violated in the three years + i was on probation

I had a DWAI conviction in 2008 and just (2013) received a failure to submit to a chemical test. I will be accepting a DWI charge. My understanding is if I have had a conditional lic in the past 5 years I can not get one following this charge. However, I have pulled my MVR and it only shows a hardship lic was issued and then my lic was fully restored after guilty plea to the first ticket. in 2008. Would my MVR show if a conditional lic was issued and because it does not am I eligible for one now?

My girlfriend was driving home through a small rural town when she was stopped by a Pennsylvania State Trooper, the troopers approached the vehicle and said that she had been swerving over the line. At which point he started to examine the car, then asked if we had anything they should know about on me, I said no sir and he went back to his car and ran the license/reg. When he returned he asked my girlfriend to step out and the other trooper asked me to step out also, he told me he saw my bowl in the car and wanted to search. I told the trooper there was pot in the back so I might get in less trouble.
