The defense was told that the arresting officer was on administrative leave and that this held no relevance to the case. As it turns out his credibility is in question and the story broke on the news the night of the guilty plea. If all information was given to us in this case we would have went to trial but due to the advise of the defense and the information being withheld we were misled and duped into pleading guilty.

I have been realeased on bond to hip and have not yet been convicted. my last 2 dui's were in 2009. I have already started my treatment classes and therpy. I also have a letter from my AA sponser about my progress on step work and sobriety date and cps worker about the importance of no jail time due to the return of custody in progress for the next month. the first court date the prosecuter wanted 90 days hip 90 days jail.
