I am currently under 21 (I'm 20 years old and will be 21 in 2 months). The officer told me I was given a DUI misdameanor. He pulled me over because my headlights were off and I swerved alittle (his words). This is my first offense and first time being arrest.
Did you take a breathalyzer or did the officer conduct a field sobriety test. If so, what was the out one of each?
I was in an accident 4 days ago in Ansonia,CT. I hit a parked car and was the only person involved. I was removed from the scene and taken to the hospital. My license was returned to me and I was released from the hospital. My car was not impounded and I received no citations. The officer told my brother I could pick up a copy of the report in 3 to 4days and I was all set. My insurance company said the owner of the car I hit told them the officer told her I was being charged with DUI but no one has contacted me about it at all. Can I still be charged?

I have never claimed to have taken any medication on the day this Happened. The Police in Stratford Pd. assumed I did. I watch everything I say to them. How can they claim I was on Meds. I was involved in an accident. A Lady cut Me off . The only damage was to my scooter and self. The Police wasted months trying to prove I was drunk. I was in the Hospital an asked to have blood work done, as I knew that if an issue arose, the Test would show my alcohol level.

I was arrested 9 years ago for a dui. I willfully agreed to a breathalyzer but after being brought in the request was changed to a urine after not being able to smell alcohol on me. I reused and against my better judgment plead out. I was arrested again for an actual DUI 1 month before my probation was over and apparently charged/convicted as a first time double offender. About 6 months ago I got another DUI. Is this the second or third conviction? I've gotten conflicting answers and for some reason it seems to be a gray area. Also is jail time mandatory as I'm a single parent and have no idea what I could do with my kids.

I was stopped from a police officer while driving and forgot that i had an empty can of beer that my friend left at the car. He told me to get out of the car and do the soberness test and i passed it. but he still asked me to go in the police department with him and did the alcohol test which i failed by a very small percentage about 0.02 over the limit in CT-i had a couple of beer a couple of hours before.
