Is there any chance that a prosecutor would ever work out a deal for a young person on an OWPD charge?
Most prosecutors will offer a reduction as an incentive to avoid trial. Keep in mind, it will still be a substance-...
4 months ago I got into a minor accident (in terms of vehicle damage) after I hit a snow bank. The police came to the scene and I was next to incoherent, although it was not clear to the officers that I was necessarily intoxicated (although I assuredly was, between alcohol and prescribed codeine). I was taken to the hospital and they got a warrant for my blood. I have received absolutely no word about the incident from the court, and I do not have a warrant as I have checked weekly since the incident. Today marked the completion of my substance abuse program, which I did both for myself and to help my legal case should it come to that (which I have fully expected it to). I have no idea when or if this whole thing is going to come down on me. Any advice on what to expect now? Thank you!

Is there any chance I can still retain my restricted license even though I've already violated terms of my restrictions?
I recently got approved for a restricted license that requires a ignition interlock. I bought a car, got the device installed and had everything all set. One of my problems stems from getting used to a push button start ignition. Well sure enough on the same day I brought the car home I accidentally tried to start the car without first using the interlock device. By doing so violates terms of my restrictions and when I took it in to be calibrated it shows my mistake. The report was forwarded to the Sec. of State and I'm really worried that I'll lose my license that quick again. I think I've done it a couple of more times and I've only been driving again only 2 1/2 months. Not anytime was trying to avoid using the device, my problem is focusing on what I'm supposed to do.
You will likely get a notice to show cause why your restricted license should be revoked for these violations at a...
In order to get a restricted license I have to have prove that a interlock device is installed on a vehicle that I'm going to drive. Can I locate a specific vehicle at a dealership, agree in principle to a purchase, and get interlock device installed? Then take my installation proof to the Secretary of State, get my restricted license and then pick-up my car? I found a company that will do installation wherever the car is located. Would it be up to the dealership to agree to do it that way or would there be any additional guidelines that I would need to follow?
It sounds like, from your question, you have already had a hearing at the Administrative Hearing Section, and they have...
