I just got a dui case and planning on pleading guilty and get it over with. However, on court day will it make a better impression if I have an experienced dui attorney show up on my behalf ? Will the Judge notice if I have an experienced attorney representing me ? What about at the dmv hearing with the hearing officer, will he notice? I do NOT condone drinking and driving and I made a big mistake and fully understand it, I had a few drinks and felt fine before driving but the breath machine proved me over the legal limit.

I just got a 23152a over the weekend because I refused FST except for the eye test and was taken to the station when I blew a bac .07 . thus being charged with 23152a What are my chances of beating this case or the DA not pressing charges knowing that I did not take any of the FSTs other than eye test. There is no way to know your chances of success because there are other indicia of impairment that may become evidence...
I got a DUI in CA while working here and I am currently enrolled in alcohol classes and taking care of it in CA. So far MA was never notified of this DUI so technically ( I think) my license is not suspended, just my privilege to drive in CA. If I go to another state and try to rent a car there or if my plates are "run" in any state other than CA what will happen? Thank you in advance for your help.

Long story short....I was at a party got taken advantage of. Left in hurry, got into an accident and proceeded home. It was reported talked to the cops, they got my side of the story and left. They showed up to my house while I was there to see how I was doing and left. I was never arrested or cited. Never got anything from them. Can the DMV still suspend my license or am I missing something?
