The list is long and growing but there watching and looking at behavior and any one sweating in nov. Well I think it was ah I don't want to tilt the list just yet but soon before the thanks giving holiday the turkey will be on the table and with the neck sticking out the VSP will slide into the town ready for the plucking and followed up with some stuffing and apply the heat and while sitting around the table with gossip flying more furious than that turkey did. The envelope please and the arsonist is !?!?!. well at least you can relish the home cooking and specialties of your dreams. Here comes diet season!

Whoever did this is loving all the attention given to this senseless crime and I hope they catch this loser and soon. That building stands for community and spirit just like my local G-store here in MI. I go there often and see my neighbors and friends and this is what Putney wanted back and now they don't have it again and it is sickening to think of all the money and care given to restore it and now, if it can be re-built, the town will have to apply for more government grants and private donations are not going to be as forthcoming due to the economy. So I say this to the sick puppy that did this, your time is coming, they will find you, you will screw up and tell someone and they in turn will call the police as I think you are a teenager and thought that this would be way cool and instead you are nothing more than a total loser who is going to be doing some serious prison time.

That describes most of the population of Putney..........

putney is full of left wingers and no goalies.although the goalie is part of the team it's those left wingers that want all the fame. chickens need both wings and still can't get their bass of the ground. wow that is over half the transplants in town. Localguy has it, the right wing haters rejoice in destroying anything that's based on love and community. The General Store was a symbol of everything they're against. It's from a time when this was truly a frontier for the new settlers, and has been a central place to come together ever since. While over most of its history it has turned a profit, profit was never the only thing. I've often sat in the dining area and listened to local farmers and back woods men holding discussions little changed in tone over the centuries. The hippies who came to Putney more recently came to join, not stand against, the essential old community traditions.

And then there are the right wing nuts, who hate anything that's not about pure profit. Even though some have Vermont roots, they'd like to see Vermont remade in the image of New Jersey and Long Island. They think the more recent arrivals, who tell them from experience how big a mistake that would be, are part of a plot to keep Vermont in the past. They hate Vermont's past. The only question is: Why don't they leave?

If this had been a lab for testing cosmetics on rabbits, I'd look among the hippies. But in this case, the target was something that the hippies loved, and the right wing nuts despised to the bottom of their empty souls.

I use to buy my cheap wine and chips there but never lipstick on some pig. Which day was the love there cause they threw me out of there if I smelled and was hungry so then that must make me a lefty of no opinion

I am tough on punishment. Find this person and make an example out of him. Give it to them really harse, you know a slap on the wrist, His mommy didn't love him , he's misundeerstood. Bleeding heart judge will sentence to 6 months no less , guaranteed.
