This city can't even get a good household recycling program going. They are years behind. Make it easy for families to recycle household waste and you can really make a difference.

This city cant even get the smoking ban going, still able to smoke in a restaurant.... Yeah Im sure someone will flame me saying its their right to smoke with a meal, which it is, but it doesnt mean everyone else has to enjoy smelling it.

I was a smoker for 30 years. I was taught to respect others and smoke outside. There is no reason why people can't leave when they need to smoke. If they have to smoke during the dining experience, they should stay home. That is a nasty smell I don't care who you are.

I am still a smoker, but even when I am in a "smoking establishment", I still go outside. Seems like common courtesy. Also, I DO NOT think government, local or otherwise should be dictating to proprietors whether to allow smoking or not. That is called a dictatorship,

I agree. It is a shame though when there is a restaurant that I would like to check out, but can't because of all the smoke. If they had two distinct areas in the place it would be fine, but having the smoking section just a table away from non smoking is just silly.
