Waynesboro, county race will alter traffic patterns

The 5th Annual "Park to Park" half-marathon on Saturday in Waynesboro and Augusta County will draw about 600 participants, prompting authorities to alter traffic patterns from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The race begins at Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro and ends at Stuarts Draft Park.

Car pulled from the bottom of the Chickasawhay River

Authorities found a car at the bottom of the Chickasawhay River Monday. Waynesboro County officials spent much of the day looking for the vehicle.
