Waller candidate charged with election misconduct

Waller County Precinct 3 Commissioner Sylvia Cedillo , arrested last weekend in an election misconduct case, said charges were filed against her to "discourage minority voting." "I believe they are prosecuting me for helping black people vote," Cedillo said Monday.

Montgomery County sheriff's deputies have arrested three men after a Tuesday afternoon raid on a mobile home and what appeared to be a tree farm actually uncovered a large hydroponic marijuana growing operation.
