PA Traffic Deaths Down
April 8, 2014 Harrisburg - The number of highway deaths on Pennsylvania roads tumbled to a record low last year when 1,208 were recorded, the lowest number since recordkeeping began in 1928, PennDOT Secretary Barry J. Schoch announced today.
Grove City to close maternity unit with UPMC deal
Eighty-nine bed Grove City Medical Center will begin collaborating with UPMC's Magee-Womens Hospital July 1, ending the medical center's childbirth services after 36 years and giving the hospital access to UPMC's women's medical care, including telemedicine.

Erie Housing Authority to receive $2.7 million HUD grant
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced Wednesday it will award $117 million in funding to Pennsylvania public housing authorities, including $2.7 million to the Erie Housing Authority.
