Recyling plant burns near Uvalde

A fire destroyed the 180,000-square-foot building that housed the Border Recycling Center northwest of Uvalde, sending a plume of smoke into the air that could be seen up to 40 miles away Tuesday, the Uvalde Leader-News reported in its online edition.
