Senate passes texting law to Delegates for approval
The West Virginia Senate has approved a bill that would allow police to ticket drivers for texting or talking on their cellphones while on the road.
On Friday, Democrat Michael Galluzo declared his intent to run for Asssessor against Republican Incumbent Jackson Hayes; and Democrats Charlie Delauder and Karl Paul filed for House of Delegates, District 6, against Republican Wm.
When educational cuts are made, music and art are amongst the first subjects to go.
Fugitives arrested on felony warrants
Thanks to the cooperative efforts of officers from the Bellaire, New Martinsville and Sistersville Police Departments, deputies from the Tyler County Sheriff's Office were able to apprehend three fugitives from justice on felony warrants for alleged crimes committed in Tyler and Wetzel counties, and in Belmont County, Ohio.
Tyler County Courthouse Gets Makeover
The Tyler County Courthouse Square is considered one of the most beautiful and historic places in Tyler County, and has remained preserved for a countless number of years.
With three days left to file for the upcoming Primary Election, it appears the Tyler County ballot will feature the names of incumbent candidates, all of whom may run unopposed in 2012.
Toothman enters plea before Judge Hummel
Toothman, age 26, of Friendly, was arrested in March, 2011 in connection with an attempted break-in at HPS Pharmacy in Sistersville.
