Harrah's Tunica Closes in June

Harrah's Tunica casino will close June 2, according to an announcement Wednesday, March 26, by Caesars Entertainment, the parent company of Harrah's Caesar's Entertainment, the parent company of Harrah's still has the Horseshoe Casino and the Tunica Roadhouse Casino and Hotel in Tunica County.

Two charter school applications vie for Tunica

Though 31 organizations submitted letters of intent to bring charters schools to various areas in Mississippi, only 12 actually turned in applications for review to the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board .
