The first shooting occurred Friday in the 200 block of Heritage Way around 10 p.m. LaGrange police officers responded to an armed robbery in which a man was exiting his vehicle and approached by an unknown assailant.
Travis Kendrick, 28, of LaGrange was charged after officers with the LaGrange Police Department Special Investigation Unit served a search warrant at his home on New Mexico Street on Saturday following complaints that marijuana was being distributed from the residence, according to a police press release.
"There was always something, crime, going on," he said. "I heard shootings all the time at night.
The LaGrange Police Department's Special Investigation Unit responded to Hogansville Road about 4:30 p.m. after a tip that two men were in the area selling synthetic marijuana, according to an LPD press release.
