Thurston County buys $9,000 BBQ grill

At a time with Thurston County is laying off workers, people here are fired up that the county has used $9,000 in taxpayer money for a barbecue grill.

The people who allow this to happen should lose their jobs.
This is abuse of public trust. Things like this happen every day.

When is the new Thurston County Taxpayer BBQ Cook-off to go with that grill! If it's striclty for personal use they've lost my vote for next election...$9,ooo for a BBQ with upcoming holidays for those who are in need in the community someone may have jumped the gun unless they plan to cook and feed us with it...turky dinners on a BBQ, Hmm.... guess it could work?
