Tama is back in County Economic Development

After a two year absence, the City of Tama will be back in the Tama County Economic Development group starting July 1. City Council members voted 4-0 at their regular meeting on Monday, May 21, to pay city dues totaling $4,316 for the 2012-13 year.

Tama, Toledo fire departments, ambulance services search for missing elderly man

9:30 p.m.- Firefighters and ambulance personnel from Tama and Toledo joined Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police and the Tama County Sheriff's Office in the search for a missing 80-year-old man who is believed to have walked or wandered away from a home in the 200 block of West Quail Road on the Meskwaki Settlement Monday evening.
