Unemployment falls again in Abilene, Big Country
The unemployment rate in Abilene during April dipped to 5.4 percent, lower than March and almost a full percentage point below the same month last year, but for the second month in a row, the labor force - the number of people working or looking for jobs - decreased compared with the same month last year.
