Rocky Ford woman dies in wreck
Amy Flanders, 40, was traveling south on Highway 17 around 12:20 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of her 2003 Honda CRV about a mile south of the Screven-Jenkins county line, according to a report from Georgia State Patrol Post 21 in Sylvania.

Screven County man jailed for Bulloch County home invasion
A Newington man was jailed Friday, charged with second-degree home invasion, after he broke into a house to reach his estranged wife and children, who had moved away to avoid him because of domestic violence, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.
