Sikeston man allegedly assaults wife, tries to commit murder-suicide by driving into utility pole
A 51-year-old Sikeston man was arrested after allegedly striking his wife in the head with a wooden ax handle at their home Tuesday afternoon, Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said Thursday in a news release.

This story doesn't make any sense to me. I used to know a Roger Tillman. About 20 years ago he was some kind of boss at the city. Is this the same guy? Does anybody know the "rest of the story"?
