A 25-year-old Farmington man was charged on Thursday with five felonies associated with pedophilia, including penetrating a child younger than 13, San Juan County Sheriff's Department officials said in a press release.

Fire last month destroyed former home of popular Aztec justice of the peace

A photo by Aztec photographer Henry Jackson in 1952 shows Judge Fred Lawson in his Justice of the Peace office on East Blanco St. The office was spared from a fire on March 21, but the neighboring home where Lawson lived for more than 50 years was destroyed.
