Illnesses close Panther Creek schools
Panther Creek schools have closed for the remainder of the week after about one-third of the students have stayed home sick.

Man charged with child sex assault
A Winters man has been arrested and charged with several offenses, including aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Clifton O'Neal Poe, 79, of Winters, Texas, passed away October 8, 2009. He was born in Runnels County on August 29, 1930 to Rebecca B. and Fred C. Poe.
