Driver charged after deputies find drugs hidden in vehicle

Wayne Lee Morrison II, 37, of Rowan County is charged with two counts of trafficking more than 28 grams of heroin/opium and one count each of possessing with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III controlled substance and interfering with a utility meter .

Cleveland County to end use of gas to kill shelter animals
