Man accused of robbing Bedford Dunkin' Donuts arrested

A man suspected of robbing a New Hampshire Dunkin' Donuts of $6,000 and recently featured on WMUR.com's " Most Wanted Wednesdays " has been arrested. Christopher Stevens was arrested in a Somersworth home on Thursday.

Fugitive of the Week Task force seeking Alex Ortiz

The New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is requested to assist in the location and arrest of Rockingham County fugitive Alex Ortiz. Ortiz is being sought on an outstanding Rockingham County arrest warrant on multiple charges, including; criminal threatening, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon , five counts of simple assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.

New Hampshire top court: Convict's rights violated

The state's highest court has reversed the sex assault convictions of a man charged with raping a child at a Newmarket day care center, ruling he was effectively in custody when police questioned him as he walked around his property. The New Hampshire Supreme Court, in its 3-2 ruling released Tuesday, reversed the six aggravated felonious sex assault convictions of 43-year-old Timothy McKenna, who was charged with sexually assaulting the girl repeatedly from 1997 to 2002 at the center run by his then-girlfriend.

Dismal turnout in early voting in Exeter

Town Clerk Andrea Kohler isn't sure what to expect for voter turnout in today's state primary election, but if the numbers so far are any indication, she better not set her expectations too high. Some 273 of the 10,916 registered voters had cast ballots by 10 a.m. They included Gov. Maggie Hassan, a Democrat from Exeter who was one of the first to arrive at the Talbot Gymnasium to cast her vote.

No injuries, or charges, in Fremont incident

Police won't be taking action against a man who was holed up inside a residence while more than a dozen officers remained outside for hours on Tuesday. Fremont Police Chief Jon Twiss said the man, who was initially described as distraught and possibly suicidal when police were first called to the home, contacted the police department Tuesday night after officers cleared the scene at 49 Deer Run.
