Lanes, speed reduced on Campbells Creek Bridge

The Texas Department of Transportation has reduced the northbound lanes from two to one to continue work on the widening of the Campbells Creek Bridge on Texas 6 just north of OSR in Robertson County.

Speed Reduced in Portion of Hwy 6 for Construction

Currently, TxDOT's contractor is reducing the northbound lanes from two lanes to one lane in order to continue work on the widening to the Campbells Creek Bridge on SH 6. This is just north of OSR in Robertson County and the speed limit has been reduced to 60mph through this construction area.

Bryan schools await tax vote

Election day is Saturday for a proposed Bryan schools property tax increase. The district is asking for a 5-cent increase, which would cost homeowners an additional $50 a year per $100,000 of assessed value and generate about $3.5 million for the general operating budget.
