City hands out 6 tickets in first week of stricter drought restrictions

Since April 1, the city has been under Stage 2 Drought restrictions. Some of the restrictions include: no washing vehicles at home, limiting Lubbockites to one day of watering per week - which must occur between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. - and banning of the washing down of hard surfaces, such as patios or driveways.
