State police investigate crash involving sheriff's car

I have seen both vehicles and why does it look like the truck T-boned the suv if it was head on and why is there skid marks in the yard on the other side of the road from the suv.I dont understand why would he go into a power slide to the left to avoid the truck

when did this happen? which sheriff was it? and what caused him to wreck like that? I think its funny. the sheriff's arond here are nothing but a joke anyway.

Ripley County, MO -(KFVS) Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol are investigating a crash involving a Ripley County Sheriff's Department vehicle.

According to the highway patrol's crash report, 29-year-old Benjamin Hall was driving a 2000 Chevrolet they identify as a Ripley County sheriff's vehicle. The highway patrol says another vehicle, a 1999 Ford driven by 27-year-old Ronald Arnold of Doniphan, crossed over the center line of US 160 east of Fairdealing and hit the sheriff's department vehicle.

The highway patrol says the Hall tried to avoid the oncoming vehicle but could not get out of the way.

Both Ronald Arnold and Benjamin Hall received minor injuries. A passenger in Arnold's vehicle received moderate injuries.

The crash happened just after 7:30 Thursday evening.

I figure it was the Sheriff Fault the way those Stupid Idiots drive .But the other person will get the ticket and pay the bill ..We need some good COPS that will be HONEST and Do the JOB for the People .Not to help the THIEFS and DOPE HEADS.

I meet 3 of those Dumb Sheriff Guys all on my side of the road .Driving like there was Free Ladys at a Bar .If they hit me they would of said it was my fault if I lived . when I got to where someone had a scanner it was all about a Horse eating Grass on side of road.Then to fine out the Horse was inside the fence. 3 cops for something like that.HA HA Back in the older days 1 cops handle everything / We have to have 3 to 4 to 6 ..This new World of People has gone to Hell.

It was the cheif deputy, Ben Hall. I herd they were drag raceing and the other guy is takeing the blame to keep hall from loseing his job because they are buddys.

No he was in rout to a call on the county line of two males fighting in the middle of the road..

That is pretty weird...surely the sheriff's department will be able to tell if they're lying, though. Well, it's Ripley Co, so maybe not...lol
Anyway, if he WAS racing he should be fired. Innocent people could have been killed.
