Wake County names superintendent finalists
The three finalists are Dana Bedden, the superintendent of the Irving Independent School District in Texas, Ann Clark, the deputy superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools; and James Merrill, the superintendent of Virginia Beach City Schools.
The winner of Green Hope and Fuquay-Varina's fourth-round tilt will play in a best-of-three series, likely starting Thursday, against the winner of Garner at Richmond County.
