Bushkill woman hurt as SUV hits tree stump on I-78 roadside

A woman was injured on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township on Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle landed upside down after she hit two signs and a tree stump on the highway shoulder, police said.

Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were recently issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen: Jesse W. Stauss, 30, of Port Jervis was sentenced to 63 days to 12 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for the crime of possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.
