A small group of inmates at the Rockville Correctional Facility, a medium-security women's prison in Parke County, is taking part in a program designed to make homeless dogs more attractive to adopt while teaching marketable skills to their human handlers.

Sat. 12th / Sun. 13th: Delphi Canal Park. A Opening of the boat season. A The canal boat "Delphi" will run at 11AM and 1PM on Saturday.A There will be a 1PM sailing on Sunday.A Adult fee is 7$ .A Youth fee is 4$.A Toddlers and infants riding on a lap are free.A This is subject to weather.

The Parke County Courthouse in Rockville was recently fitted with an automatic door at the base of a wheelchair ramp on the building's east side.
