Several arrested over holiday weekend

The Delbarton and Gilbert Police Departments, the West Virginia State Police and the Mingo County Sheriff's Department all made arrests during the past three-day holiday weekend, on charges that include assault and battery, transfer and receiving stolen goods and DUI, among others.

7 plead guilty in circuit court

According to information provided by Mingo County Prosecuting Attorney C. Michael Sparks, a total of seven men who were indicted by the April Grand Jury were once again in circuit court on Monday appearing before the Honorable Judge Michael Thornsbury, where they all entered guilty pleas to charges against them.

Fugitive from justice arrested in Ky.
