Lenore woman arrested two times in single day

A Lenore resident was arrested twice in the same day by officers with both the Mingo County Sheriff's Department and the Williamson Police Department.

Judgea s action in Baisden case not bas...

The new prison reporting date for Mingo Commissioner David Baisden is after the primary election in May. There is no way I think legendary District Court Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr would make a political decision on the bench, so I don't join those who suspect something amiss.

Officers make arrests on various charges

The following defendants were arrested in Mingo County over the past week. Their names and the charges they face are as follows: Lannie Dow Ooten, 50, of Delbarton, was arrested by Mingo County Sheriff's Department Deputy L. Thomas on charges of DUI, after allegedly producing results of .245 during a breath intoximeter test.
